ezoic / flickify

Ezoic was founded as an ads monetization service, but the company hasn’t stopped there. In recent years, they have been developing Open.Video (formerly Humix) and Flickify as tools for video publishing. The former is a platform for video monetization as an alternative to YouTube, while the latter is a tool for converting text-based articles into narrated videos. During my time working at Ezoic, I was a part of the Video Creation team, which was in the process of developing Flickify.

Using a stack of Vue, Ant Design, Vuetify, and Bootstrap, I worked on the frontend features for Flickify. My first major project was the localization refactor, which involved configuring the app to allow it to responsively swap between languages. The other major feature I contributed was the media library — an organized repository for all of the assets the user uploads to use in their videos. Inspired by WordPress’s own media library, the feature allowed users to sort and search assets and update their metadata.

Flickify launched only shortly before I left Ezoic, and I did not take any screenshots of the in-development product. For more images of Flickify, please refer to the official website.
