workspace geek
Workspace Geek is an all-in-one web platform for the management of coworking centers. Originally built as a series of static HTML pages, much of my work at MorningStar Software was converting the legacy website to a modern application. The new frontend uses Angular to create a responsive, user-friendly platform. In the past, MorningStar’s customer service department would often have to manually run T-SQL processes for end-users, but the new interface allows for the streamlined automation of complex tasks like adding clients.
While my primary role at MorningStar was as a frontend developer, I often worked in the backend to edit existing functions and processes to provide additional data for the new features being added. Workspace Geek uses .NET Entity Framework to handle requests from the frontend and receive raw data from the T-SQL databases — this is where the business logic operates. My experience with C# from developing video games in Unity allowed me to contribute on the backend.

I did not take any screenshots during my time at MorningStar Software, so I encourage you to visit their website if you are interested in Workspace Geek.
